Each year U3A Manawatū offers two seminar series, one in the autumn and one in the spring. Each series of four seminars is organised around a theme and is open to the public. A diverse range of themes have been offered over the years, dealing with both topical and historical issues in areas ranging from science, education and social science to the arts.
The 2024 Spring series, with the theme “Manawatū Memories: Reflecting on the Past, Embracing the Future”, ran for four Wednesdays from 2.15-4.00 pm starting 16th October.
